Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used and disclosed by us, TouchMail Inc., with respect to your access and use of our services through our various websites and applications. This Privacy Policy doesn’t apply to any third-party websites, services or applications that you may access through our services.

Any information that is collected is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is collected. We may, however, modify and revise our Privacy Policy from time-to-time. If we make any material changes to this policy, we will notify you of such changes by posting them on our website, through our services or by sending you an email or other notification, and we will indicate when such changes will become effective. By continuing to access or use our services after those changes become effective, you are agreeing to be bound by the revised policy.

Google API Services Limited Use Disclosure

TouchMail's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Your Gmail account information is used to display your messages on your device and is not used or shared for any other purposes.

Information You Provide

We will collect the personal information (like your name and email address) you provide when you use TouchMail. If you create an account using your Facebook login (or a login from another supported social networking site), we will access and collect the personal information about you that the social networking site allows to be shared (which is based your privacy settings), in order to create your account for you.

Note regarding children: We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information of a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information from our files as soon as possible.

Note regarding international users: Your information may be transferred to and maintained on computers located in the United States (or any other country where we operate) and processed there – by providing us with your information, you are accepting and agreeing to that transfer. We do not store your email messages, contacts or passwords anywhere other than the device(s) you use to run TouchMail.

Information We Collect

Through the services, you can link your various email accounts (by providing us with your login credentials or otherwise granting us authorization to access your accounts) so that we can provide you with access to the information contained in those accounts. You can de-link these accounts at any time. We may also collect information about your contacts and friends, your address book and calendar and the other information contained in your accounts, so that you can use that information when you use our services.

We also automatically collect certain information when you use our services, like the Internet Protocol (IP) address (if using a browser) or a device identifier (if using a mobile device), operating system, the browser type, and your location (if you enable this feature). You can enable or disable location services when you use our services at anytime, through your browser or mobile device settings. We may automatically collect certain information through the use of “cookies” (a small data file that your browser places on your computer that helps us better understand how you interact with and use our services). Most Internet browsers automatically accept cookies and you can instruct your browser, by editing its options, to stop accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie from the websites you visit.

Additional Limits on Use of Your Google User Data

Notwithstanding anything else in this Privacy Policy, if you provide the App access to the following types of your Google data, the App’s use of that data will be subject to these additional restrictions:

1. The App will only use access to read, write, modify or control Gmail message bodies (including attachments), metadata, headers, and settings to provide an email client on your device that allows users to compose, send, read, and process emails and will not transfer this Gmail data to others unless doing so is necessary to provide and improve these features, comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

2. Data about your Contacts is used to help find and complete email addresses when composing messages and is not shared with any third party.

3. The App will not use this Gmail data for serving advertisements.

4. The App will not allow humans to read this data unless we have your affirmative agreement for specific messages, doing so is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, to comply with applicable law, or for the App’s internal operations and even then only when the data have been aggregated and anonymized.

Information Collected by Others

We may enable third-parties to collect usage analytics about our services. These third-parties may place their own cookies on your device to collect traffic and activity data in order to deliver us relevant metrics and information. We do not share any personal information or email message data of our users with these parties, but we may share anonymous or aggregated information about our users with them to help improve our services. How We Use the Information We Collect

We use the information we collect to provide our services (or the information you request), to process and complete any transactions, to respond to inquiries, to improve our services, to anonymously monitor and analyze usage and trends of our services, to send you administrative messages regarding the operation and use of our services, to send via email information and updates about TouchMail (which you can unsubscribe from at any time) and for any other purpose for which the information was collected. We do not read or analyze the contents of your email messages for advertising purposes.

Information We Share With Others

We will share information about you when you instruct us to do so or if we notify you that the information you provide will be shared in a particular manner and you provide such information (like sharing it with a social networking site).

We may share information about you in anonymous and/or aggregated form with third parties for industry analysis, demographic profiling, research, analysis and other similar purposes. This does not include any email message data.

Your information may be accessed and used by our service providers who are working with us in connection with the operation of our services (these service providers may have access to your information but only to the extent necessary to perform services on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose that information or use it for any other purposes).

We may share information about you if we are (or if we believe we are) required by law or legal process (such as a subpoena, warrant or court order), if we have to respond to a lawful request from legal authorities to disclose such information, or if we need to enforce or apply this Privacy Policy, our Terms or our other policies.

We may transfer and/or provide information about our users in connection with an acquisition, sale of company assets, or other situation where user information would be transferred as one of our business assets.

How to Access Your Information

If you have an account, you can access and modify the information you provided us through your account. If you completely delete all such information, then your account will become deactivated and you will not be able to access our services through your account. If you would like us to delete personal information about you from our system, please contact us at info@touchmail.co with a request that we delete your personal information from our database. We will use reasonable efforts to honor your request; however, we may retain an archived copy of your information as required by law or for other legitimate record keeping purposes.

Security Measures We Take To Protect Your Information

We employ administrative, physical and electronic measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, however, despite these efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse. In the event that your personal information is compromised as a result of a breach of security, we will promptly notify you if your personal information has been compromised, as required by applicable law.

Links to Other Services and Websites

Our services may contain links to other services and websites operated by third parties. Any information you provide to those services and websites is provided directly to the owner of that service or website and is subject to their own terms, data gathering practices and privacy policy. Our Privacy Policy does not apply to these services and websites and we are not responsible for the privacy and security practices of those services and websites.
